Notifications

If you enable notifications, HabitHone may send habit reminders, routine reminders, to-do reminders, and social notifications related to your account. You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Information We Do Not Currently Collect

At this time, HabitHone does not collect GPS or precise location information, advertising identifiers for personalized advertising, marketing email lists, payment information, analytics data, crash reporting data, or cookies through the website.

Account Authentication

HabitHone currently uses Google Sign-In to create and authenticate user accounts. Additional authentication methods, such as Sign in with Apple, may be added in the future.

When you sign in using a supported authentication provider, HabitHone may receive information including:

  • Your unique account identifier provided by the authentication service
  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your profile picture, if available

We use this information to create and maintain your HabitHone account, authenticate you when you sign in, help identify your account, support account recovery and communication when necessary, and enable you to connect with other HabitHone users.

Each HabitHone account includes a unique username selected by the user. Other users may search for you by your username.

Users may also choose to allow other users to find them by their email address for the purpose of connecting as accomplices. Email address discovery is optional and is disabled by default.

Your profile information, including your display name, username, profile picture, and any other information you choose to make visible, may be displayed to accomplices or other users in accordance with your privacy settings and your use of the Service.

HabitHone does not display your email address to other users unless you choose to enable email-based discovery or otherwise intentionally share it through the Service.

As additional authentication providers or integrations become available, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect any changes in the information collected and how it is used.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Provide and operate the Service
  • Help you monitor your behavior, build habits and routines, and measure progress toward your personal goals
  • Display your progress, streaks, achievements, and activity history

HabitHone collects personal information only to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information or use it to create advertising profiles.

Social Features

HabitHone includes optional social features.

If you choose to share highlights, progress, or other activity, that information may be visible to the audience you select, such as your accomplices or other users where applicable.

You remain responsible for the information you choose to make visible to others.

Third-Party Services

HabitHone currently uses Google Sign-In to authenticate users.

In the future, HabitHone may integrate with services such as Sign in with Apple, Fitbit, Strava, Apple Health, or Google Health Connect.

If these integrations are introduced, HabitHone will request your permission before accessing any data from those services, and this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

Data Storage

Your information is stored using secure cloud services.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
